What is the Golden Heartland Guild?
The Golden Heartland Guild is a Joy-Led retail and creative incubator — a gathering place where makers, dreamers, and doers come together to create, grow, and belong. Located At 125 W Cherry Street in the heart of downtown Nevada, Missouri, the Guild brings together creativity, community, and commerce in a warm, inviting space opening in April 2026. The membership waitlist opens in January 2026.
Inside its historic walls, the Guild Shop showcases the work of members, makers who keep 100% of their sales while gaining shared visibility, mentorship, and monthly spotlights as part of the Featured Maker program. Visitors don’t just shop — they connect with the people behind every handcrafted item and leave inspired by the stories that make our community shine.
At the center of the Guild sits The Table — a space for workshops, classes, and gatherings that celebrate creativity in all forms. From Joy-Led journaling nights to “Meet the Maker” experiences during First Saturday on the Square, the Storyhouse invites people to learn, play, and rediscover the joy of creating.
As it grows, the Guild will expand to include coworking and studio spaces — a home for rural creatives and small business owners to build, collaborate, and thrive. It’s more than a building; it’s a living demonstration of what’s possible when faith, creativity, and community come together with purpose.
